This is actually an updated version of a painting I completed and posted in July. Since then I have been looking at it on and off and finally had to face the fact that there were things that could be improved, so I made some changes - specifically adding more trees in the immediate foreground at the right and adjusting some of the colours in the foliage and sky. Fortunately this does not happen very often, but better to do what you think is best, and I am now much happier with the painting.
